5-Day Treasures of Zimbabwe
Detailed Itinerary

Beyond the wildlife, the highlight of a trip to Zimbabwe is surely the point where the Zambezi River cascades over the edge of a basalt plateau. Forming the mile-wide Victoria Falls, it casts its magic on all who stand at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. At the UNESCO World Heritage site of Great Zimbabwe, the ruins of a medieval city tell the story of a forgotten civilization. It is an important part of the region’s history, and the network of stone monuments indicate a culture with great architectural skill.
