




Overview
An African safari adventure spanning 5 days, two countries and seemingly endless exclusive experiences that will have you planning your next safari on the flight home. Start your week off in beautiful Victoria falls in Zimbabwe and into Botswana, exploring the Chobe National Park in all its glory. Then pop over the border to Zimbabwe and spend a few nights immersed in the wildlife of Hwange National Park.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1:Victoria Falls- Chobe National Park
You get picked up from the resort town of Victoria Falls at 09: 00am and head north towards Kasane, a village on the edge of Chobe National Game Reserve. Time is spent in the Northern Chobe, a park which is incredibly rich in game due to the Chobe River providing water all year round. Large herds of elephant are frequently seen walking to and from the river. Due to the high density of herbivores in this area many predators, such as lions and leopards, can be found

Included Highlight: Afternoon boat cruise-Boarding a vessel and then traversing along the Chobe River into the Chobe National Park. There is no stretch of river in the world that has a larger and more varied abundance of wildlife than this part of the Chobe River.
Day 2:Chobe National Park

​Included Highlight: Morning and Afternoon game drive -This morning, guests will be collected in open game drive vehicles to the park. The game drive will cover less than 1% of the 11700 square kilometres that makes up the Chobe National Park. The Land activity takes you further into the park where a variety of different species can be found

Day 3 :Hwange National Park
​
After an early breakfast today, we embark on a journey to Zimbabwe`s biggest National park- Hwange National Park.Hwange National Park is in west Zimbabwe. Its grasslands and mopane woods are home to large elephant herds, lions and African wild dogs. In the northwest, animals gather at Mandavu and Masuma dams, where there are concealed lookouts. Bumbusi National Monument includes 18th-century ruins and pre-colonial rock carvings. In the southeast, waterholes include the Nyamandhlovu Pan, with its elevated viewing platform

​Day 5:Hwange National Park
The day starts early as we depart our lodge for a full day game drive. We visit several waterholes with lunch served in the middle of the bush.

Prices are in USD and is based on low season and high season rates for accommodation and other applicable services, and may change depending on availability, currency fluctuations and number of people traveling together.

Rates include all accommodation on full board, transport, guiding, park fees and included activities. Flights are not Included.

Game drives in high quality and well maintained safari vehicle with professional English-speaking driver guide. Game drives may be shared with other guests of the lodge/camp, with maximum of 10 guests in the vehicle. Botswana and Zimbabwe: All national park and conservation fees as per your itinerary.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tour Resevation
A deposit of 30% of the tour price is required for reservation confirmation. Reservation will automatically becancelled if the deposit is not received by Africa Uncovered Safaris within 14 days after reservation. Final (70%) payment of the total tour price must be paid 21 days before start of the safari.
Travel Documents:

It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure that they possess the necessary travel documentation for the tour, such as a valid passport. In general a passport should be valid at least 6 months beyond the end of your journey and have two clear pages for each country to be visited to allow for entry and exit stamps en-route or for any visas. Your journey may require a visa for your country’s passport. If you are transiting or stopping elsewhere on your journey, other visas may be required. Africa uncovered Safaris is able to organise and coordinate visas if required. If you plan to visit other countries, some do require visas in advance and proof of travel insurance

Travel Insurance:

Comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory on the tour. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she has such insurance in place (together with the required paperwork to prove such insurance) before embarking on the tour.

The client acknowledges that travel insurance must include comprehensive medical insurance including provision for air evacuation, and that the Company shall not be liable for any consequences, damages or loss as a result of the client failing to have the necessary cover.
Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation 30days before the scheduled date: no penalty

Cancellation 14- 29days before the scheduled date: 70% penalty on the tour cost

Cancellation 1-13days before the scheduled date: 95% penalty on the tour cost
